Ginger: Ginger has a warming effect that promotes blood circulation and helps warm the stomach, dispelling cold. It is also effective in expelling wind and dampness and improving blood flow.

Sweet Vinegar: Sweet vinegar has a variety of benefits, including stimulating the appetite, softening blood vessels, and promoting a healthy complexion. It can also help with blood circulation, relieve bruising, and nourish the blood.

This dish is best consumed in colder weather to help warm the body, making it especially suitable for those with a cold or weak constitution or those suffering from joint discomfort.

Postpartum women can benefit from eating this dish during the confinement period (the “zuo yuezi” month) to help restore strength and alleviate postpartum discomfort like wind and joint pain.
